ADVICE
The Monteroni/Bonconvento area can be reached in ca 40 minutes
by car from Borgo al Cerro. You are recommended to spend up
to a whole day in the area, to take in a visit along the crests
formed by the characteristic hills, as well as the small medieval
"borghi" (fortified towns and hamlets) and the Abbey
of Monteoliveto.
FINE WINE AND FOOD
Local specialities are pecorino cheese, and the white truffles
